Art For Teens
Teen/PreTeen Basic Drawing & Painting
Tuesdays, 5-6:30 pm
Cost $100 per month- four, 1 1/2 hour classes
Ages 11-17
Ongoing Class, Join Anytime
3 month minimum required, payment due monthly
Your child will experience the creative decision making process involved in taking their original ideas from a simple sketch to a completed work of art. Students work on a variety of self-directed projects with an emphasis on individual instruction, development of specific techniques, styles and mastering the use of medium. Advanced students will learn new techniques, use of various tools, experiment with format changes and medium additives. Formal critiques and the opportunity for public exhibit will help define personal goals and reinforce self confidence. Good portfolio development class for juniors and seniors interested in a continued focus on the visual arts. Supplies Not Included, List Provided.
