ART FOR CHILDREN

Perfect for kids who just love to draw! Your child will explore the art of creating different types of people and animals, their shapes, textures, movement and expressions.

Just Paint IT! Ages 7-10      Cost $85
10:15-11:15 am
For kids who love to paint. Learn how to make every color in the world! Then use those colors to create orignial works of art. Landscapes, still life and portrait painting are explored.

Drawing In 3-D   Ages 9-12    Cost $85
11:30 am-12:30 pm
Using simple one point perspective and the use of value, kids learn to draw things that look real! Helps young artists to �see� and not just look at the world around them. A fun way to improve your drawing skills.

Clay Sculpture     Ages 7-12       Cost $85

For kids who love to build things! Young artists will create two, 3-dimensional works of art from their original drawings. Encourages creative problem solving and understanding of the element of form.

We explore a wide variety of material while learning the early basics of line, shape, space, color and texture. We sing songs about art and learn all about being an artist.

Developmental II Ages 4-6    Cost $85

A great follow-up to Developmental I ( Dev.I is not required to take Dev. II) A focus on the Element of Form. Young artists make original art from clay, paper and found objects. We sing songs about art and learn all about being an artist.

Printmaking Ages 7-13 Cost $85
10:15-11:15 am
Explore this exciting process of making art! Kids learn a variety of printmaking techniques including: water prints, sandpaper, etching and photo prints. Something different and fun!.

Drawing People Ages 10-13 Cost $85

Learn to draw people who really look like people!
People are easy to draw, once you learn and practice a few basic guidelines. A focus on the proportions of the human form.

Paper Mache sculpture   Ages 9-13

Create your own alien! Let your wild ideas come to life as you design and make your own unique creature. Paper mache and found objects are used in an �out of this world� experience.

ART FOR ADULTS & TEENS

ACRYLIC PAINTING FOR TEENS

Starting with the basics of composition and color theory, your teen will experience the creative, decision making process as they take their original skectch to a completed work of art. Various techniques and styles explored. *Supplies Not Incl., List provided. Ongoing Class Join Anytime!

Oil Painting Class Ages 16-Adult
Tues. Evening, 6-9 PM For 5 weeks
Cost $175 + $15 Supply Fee
Ongoing Class, Next Start Date March 25th
Learn to paint in oils with ArtVentures Instructor, Laura Whitmore. Painting from life you will explore the elements of good composition, use of light and shadow and using expressive color to render simple objects. Quality, fine art instruction.

Mosaic Art Workshop Ages 12-Adult Cost $125   Sat., June 14th, 10 am-6 pm
Instructor Joetta Currie
Learn the basics of this age-old technique. Each student will make an original work of art using a variety of material.    *Tools, some tile, grout, substrate and adhesive provided. Students should plan to bring a variety of collected material. GREAT MOTHER/DAUGHTER CLASS!
