DEVELOPMENTAL ART AGES 3, 4 & Young 5

Wednesdays, 11:00 am-12:00 noon,
SESSION I Sept. 17th - Dec. 3rd
SESSION II Jan. 14th-March 25th
Cost: $195 for the 10 week session

GREAT FIRST ART CLASS! Children explore a wide variety of material while learning the early basics of line, shape, space, color, texture and form. Instructor will direct the child's ability, desire and imagination with training and positive reinforcement in a noncompetitive, nonjudgmental, environment.

A complete program including: drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, collage and art history. The elements and principles of design are introduced and explored. Great for kids who just love to draw and want to improve their skills. Learn to draw in 3-D, people, animals, cartoons, and more! Variety of media and techniques are explored.

Fun introduction to painting with familiar medium. Instruction in basic color theory and painting techniques as we explore the styles of a variety of famous artists with landscape, still life and portrait art.

ADULT & TEEN PROGRAMS

ACRYLIC PAINTING JOIN ANYTIME
Tues., 5:00-6:30 pm    $85 per month   Ages 12-17
Starting with the basics of composition and color theory, your teen will experience the creative, decision making process as they take their original sketch to a completed work of art. Various techniques and styles explored. *Supplies Not Incl., List provided.

OIL PAINTING
Tues. Evening, 6-9 PM $175 For 5 weeks (15 Hours of instruction)

Learn to paint in oils with ArtVentures Instructor, Laura Whitmore. Painting from life you will explore the elements of good composition, use of light and shadow and using expressive color to render simple objects.

PRECIOUS METAL CLAY   Ages 15-Adult
September, 20th, Sat. 11 am-5 pm   Cost $150
PMC Certified Instructor, Merlene Walker of The Alchemy Group will help students explore the methods of imprinting textures, learning to carve, fire and finish this unique material. Materials and tools provided.

FUSED GLASSS WORKSHOP Ages 15-Adult
October, 25th, Sat. 11 am-5 pm   Cost $150
Glass fusing is the joining of glass together by heat. Beginners will make twp pendants and a pair of earrings or refrig. magnets. Learn the basics of cutting, placing and firing. Tools, glass and firing provided. No experience is necessary.

MOSAIC ART WORKSHOP Ages 12-Adult
November 1st Sat., 11 am-5 pm, Cost $125
Instructor- Joetta Currie
Learn the basics of this age-old technique. Each student will make an original work of art using a variety of material. *Tools, some tile, grout, substrate and adhesive provided. Students should plan to bring a variety of collected material.
