A wonderful first art class! This class helps to build early self confidence by increasing your child’s visual perception, expanding their imagination and practicing fine motor skills, all while having FUN! We sing songs about art and learn how to make every color in the world! A new activity each week introduces them to a variety of media and a focus on the basic elements of art helps to build a strong foundation for their education. 10th week is a formal artist reception.

A complete program including: drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, collage and art history. Basic techniques, artistic vocabulary and skills are developed.
$175 Enrollment Fee Includes: Registration Fee, Supply Fee and First Month of Class. Monthly payments of $90 are due on the first class day of each month.

This class is designed for the student who has completed one or more terms of the After School Elementary or Home School Program. The child should have acquired basic artistic skills in areas of drawing, painting and sculpture, developed an understanding of simple artistic vocabulary, and can stay focused on task for an extended period of time.
Students having previous art instruction at another facility may qualify by interview. Please call Mrs. Currie to discuss you child's interest in this program. 972 771-4397.

A wonderful experience for children who love to paint! A variety of new techniques and media are explored. We unlock the secrets of color and learn how to make every color in the world! Children have fun expanding their imaginations to create original works of art. Supplies included.

Some children just love to draw! This class offers it all with drawing: dinosaurs, aliens, robots, reptiles, birds, fish cars, and of course, people too! Use of light and shadow, texture and a variety of media are explored. Students will learn to recognize and create good composition reflected in their original art.
