The purpose of a Vision Board is to help you create an image of what you want to attract in your life. Vision Boards are a very powerful way to use the process of visualization. Creating a collage of pictures and words to create the exact image of what you want to attract to your life. You will be surprised to see the elements on your Vision Board appear in your life as you focus positively on them every day. You choose! FUSED GLASS WORKSHOP Ages 12-Adult*
February 7th 2009 Sat. 11 am-5 pm   Cost $150
Merlene Walker directs students through this exciting process. Glass fusing is the joining of glass together by heat. Beginners will make two pendants and a pair of earrings, refrig. magnets or a special Valentine's Day work of art. Learn the basics of cutting, placing and firing. Tools, glass and firing provided. No experience is necessary.

PRECIOUS METAL CLAY   Ages 12-Adult*
April 18th 2009 Sat. 11 am-5 pm   Cost $150
PMC Certified Instructor, Merlene Walker of The Alchemy Group will help students explore the methods of imprinting textures, learning to carve, fire and finish this unique material. Materials and tools provided.

DRAWING FOR TEENS

A great class to improve skills and develop an understanding of the Linear Perspective. Students will work with pencil, colored pencil, learn to develop good composition, use of value and realistic rendering of subject matter. one and two point perspective is explored.

ACRYLIC PAINTING FOR TEENS

Starting with the basics of composition and color theory, your teen will experience the creative, decision making process as they take their original skectch to a completed work of art. Various techniques and styles explored. *Supplies Not Incl., List provided. Ongoing Class Join Anytime!

OIL PAINTING CLASS Ages 16-Adult
Thursdays 9 am-12 noon For 5 weeks
Cost $175 + $15 Supply Fee
Ongoing Class, May 7th Next Start Date
ArtVentures Instructor, Laura Whitmore. Painting from life you will explore the elements of good composition, use of light and shadow and using expressive color to render simple objects. Quality fine art instruction. Students having ALL of their own supplies, do not pay the supply fee.

MOSAIC ART WORKSHOP
Ages 12-Adult
February 28th, Sat., 11 am-5 pm

Learn the basics of this age-old technique. Each student will make an original work of art using a variety of material. Learn everything you need to get you started making beautiful mosaics from tile, glass or found objects. *Tools, some tile, grout, substrate and adhesive provided.
